Class approved for 4 CE hours KY Masters/Journeyman, 4 CE hours OH, 4 CE hours Vanderburg Co, IN Masters, and NATE CE hours. Per state rules, repeat courses do not qualify for accumulative credits. Each class must be unique. i.e. Taking (2) Heat Pump Classes only qualifies for 4 CE hours total, whereas (1) Inverter Technology Class & (1) Heat Pump Class = 8 CE hours
LG Residential & Light Commercial Installation Training: Florence, KY
with Marty Newberry
Who Should Attend: Employees and subcontractors of LG Representatives and Distribution Partners who will be performing field installations of LG ductless systems.
Course Overview – What You'll Learn: This training covers manufacturer guidelines for installing piping and wiring systems associated with LG Duct-Free Split (DFS) indoor and outdoor air conditioning units.
How You'll Learn: The session begins with a brief introduction to LG inverter technology, followed by detailed instruction on system installation — with a strong emphasis on piping and control wiring best practices. Content will be delivered through PowerPoint presentations, group discussions, and hands-on lab activities. In the lab, participants will be introduced to LGMV Mobile, LG's performance evaluation tool used to assess system operation prior to startup. Charging procedures and pre-commissioning tasks will also be covered.
Prerequisites:
- Advanced technical knowledge of residential A/C, heat pump, and air distribution systems
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word prefered but not required
What to Bring:
- A laptop or PC with a web browser
- Participants who wish to have LGMV installed on their device should verify that their system meets compatibility requirements prior to class

This is our 17th year since the inception of GeoFarm, now known as the Home Comfort Expo Presented at Geofarm. We changed the format so that we can continue to provide a variety of topics that are imbedded in our profession. We are very proud of the fact that over 3,000 contractors have attended the various training events at Geofarm. Many of you come to the event year after year which we feel is a testament to the quality of training we provide.
This event takes place on a beautiful 300-acre farm located in Aurora, Indiana. This location provides us with the perfect setting to over a variety of training sessions outside of the normal classroom environment.
We have an outstanding team of trainers to help make this an enjoyable and educational event for all who attend. We look forward to spending time with each of you.

LG Residential & Light Commercial Essentials Training: Florence, KY

Who Should Attend: Employees and subcontractors of LG Representatives and Distribution Partners who will be servicing and repairing LG ductless air conditioning systems.
Course Overview – What You'll Learn: This course provides an in-depth look at the key components of LG ductless systems, including PCBs, EEVs, BLDC motors, compressors, and more. Students will gain a modular-level understanding of how each component contributes to proper system operation, including how indoor and outdoor electrical connections interact. The course also includes hands-on guidance for accessing major components and performing essential service and maintenance tasks.
How You'll Learn: Training combines classroom instruction with hands-on exercises using live LG equipment in the lab. Students will follow a step-by-step troubleshooting process and use LGMV Mobile, LG's performance and diagnostic tool, to evaluate and resolve real-time equipment issues.

- Advanced technical knowledge of residential A/C, heat pump, and air distribution systems

LGMV Note: Students interested in using the LGMV PC version should contact Corken to obtain an LGMV kit.
