LG Heat Pump Fundamentals and Installation Practices: Florence, KY

Free

with Factory Representative

Calendar Feb 26, 2026 at 9 am

This LG training class delivers practical, classroom-based education focused on inverter-driven heat pump systems, proper system design, and correct installation principles. Taught by an LG Application and Design Specialist, attendees will gain a clear understanding of why LG inverter technology matters, how to properly size heat pump systems, and how LG solutions are applied in real-world scenarios. The majority of the class will focus on P.W.C. (Piping, Wiring, and Charging) best practices.

What you will learn:

  •  What is an inverter compressor?– Here we discuss what an LG inverter compressor is, but more importantly, why it matters. Instead of hearing “inverter” simply as a buzz word, understand the impact that an LG inverter-based system will have on performance.
  • How to size a heat pump – It is critical that systems are sized properly, and heat pumps can be tricky. Load calcs are critical and understanding how heat pumps perform is equally important. We will learn how to properly size a heat pump system.
  •  LG product overview– We will present an overview of the LG equipment portfolio and possible solutions. But rest assured, this will not be a sales presentation reading through a catalog.
  • Piping, Wiring and Charging (P.W.C.)– This is the core of the class where we will spend most of our time. Here we will discuss proper (and improper) installation practices. This will give an installer insights necessary to properly install an LG system.
  • LG Pro Dealer Pathway to Platinum Program– We will highlight a few benefits of the LG Pro Dealer Program at a very high-level. If owners or managers want more information on the Program, we can discuss further or you can align with your LG Account Manager. Please note, miles can be given for this training!

Lunch provided.

This class offers LG miles towards the LG Pro Dealer levels
